Dr Gavin Lobo
Gavin has been a General Practitioner in Auckland for over 20 years
Dr Gavin Lobo was born in Dartford, Kent in England. He studied Medicine at Kings College in London; graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 1990. After working in-House Jobs in Hastings on the South Coast of England and a casualty job he decided to immigrate to New Zealand. Located in Auckland, Dr Lobo worked in the public hospital system in General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology for a number of years before entering into General Practice in Auckland.
Over the years, in addition to General Practice, he has developed a special interest in minor surgery, cosmetic medicine and occupational health; he has completed further training in these fields.
Dr Lobo holds a Diploma in Cosmetic Medicine, a Diploma in Dermoscopy and is a trained Rail Medical Officer (R.M.O.) providing Employment Medicals for KiwiRail and Link Alliance.

Meet Our Team
Mandi
Mandi trained as a Registered Nurse, graduating in 2016. She spend her first year working in Haematology / General Medicine at Middlemore Hospital. Mandi joined Gavin Lobo Health in 2017. Mandi is passionate about General Practice and the patients she looks after. Mandi is vital to the smooth running of the practice. Practice Nursing is something Mandi says she will do forever, she loves the unpredictability of it and the long term relationships that are built with patients and families.
Mandi has special interests in: Mental Health & Addiction, Cosmetic Medicine and Occupational Health.
Emily
Emily is from Kent in England and has been living in New Zealand since 1999. She has worked in the healthcare industry since she was 18 years old and has been greeting the patients at Gavin lobo Health since 2019.
Emily is a Patient-focused, detail-oriented and computer-savvy medical receptionist. She is very personable and courteous in all interactions with patients and team members and skilled at anticipating physician and practice needs.
